Download model can't be render in 3dsMAX

I downloaded a car model and open in 3dsmax 2019 but I can't use the arnold to render it. How can solve this problem ? Is material's problem or software version problem ? Thanks.

The render result as below:

The model probably comes with Legacy shaders such as V-Ray or Corona.

Use this initiative to help convert the stuff, if something is broken, contact me.

Thank you for your help. I have already run the scene converter but still can't render.

If that car is a V-ray car, you will fail, because you run the default conversion scripts, try look at the difference in the conversion rules compared to the screenshot on my page, you see, I have rules to convert V-Ray material to Arnold material, your conversion rules have no such rule, so install my package and enable the specific rules, you can also load the vraytoArnold preset.

Go to the github. there is a link to it directly under the download button, the scripts are exposed there, outside an exe file.

I trust there is a light in the scene?

Other renderers can be successful, only arnold can't. The link is the model file you can try. Thanks a lot.

Your car imports fine and renders with no problem on the CPU and GPU with no settings touched.
So you must have something in your scene that prevents this from working.
Those are Standard Max Materials, you should convert them to Arnold, and introduce the flake shader and so on.

Thank you very much. I reassign the materials to the model as you suggested, Now arnold is working properly. But I need to reassign all the materials to the model.

That one clearly needs a scene conversion. Can be done with the default 3ds Max scene converter in the rendering menu. The materials on this assets are standard and will convert into Physical. There is also a message about empty bitmaps. Deactivate the Abort on error checkbox in the Diagnostics tab in the render setup dialog box will render your scene. It might be a missing bitmap or a missing name on the map itself. Should not longer take more then 2 minutes to fix your errors.

@Mads Drøschler Thank you very much. I reassigned the material to the model as you suggested, and now arnold is working. now I have to reassign all the materials.

http://www.colinsenner.com/scripts/relink-bitmaps
Colin senner made relink bitmap, use this script to reinstall missing bitmaps, it can trawl through a harddisk and find bitmaps and load them back automatically.
