Sticky Worldspace triplanar

HI!

I have a quick question,

is it possible to set sicky worldspace triplanar? I would love to have one sticky texture triplanar projected on few objects.

Lets say I want to have seamless bricks texture and apply it to few objects based on world space coords and then animate the objects with the textures attached. Object space is keeping the texture but I can't have one big projection on all of the objects.

Cheers

Dawid

  • Set the Coord Space to Pref.
  • Use a Texture Reference Object.

Hi Lee! Thanks for reply, but I don't think this is going to work this way.

I forgot to mention that all the objects are separate. For example:

I am using here triplanar shader on all of the objects with world space coords (this is important) since when I set object or Pref I am getting texture per object instead of texture per cluster.

Right now when I move one of them, texture is swimming.

When I set Texture reference object - I can do it only per object, not per cluster, unless I don't know something ;).

Thank you!

Did this ever get answered? I'm having the same problem. Want to use a worldspace triplaner on a cloner object in cinema 4d and not have the textures swim.

Best,

Andy
