This combination of things aint' working once refreshed (ie. the node is there but it's not displayed).

Sure Lee, here we go.
Just select the sphere then 'graph' its material in the hypershade and the noise shader attached to the aicolorcorrect won't be displayed.. click 'in/output connections' button in hypershade with aicolorcorrect selected and you'll see the noise shader. Generally the bug happens when you input a color and then output an alpha.. the color attached ain't gonna be displayed. Ubuntu with MtoA 3.3.0. Cheers.
