clipgeo.zipI have a building and want to make a 3d section with Clip Geo and
apply a red color as intersection material.
But the red color shows up only on certain parts of the section.
Any clue why this?
Attatching the scene.
thx...

There could be something suspicious going on with that geometry perhaps?
Is there coincidental geometry? Are the normals the same, double-sided, etc?
When I delete the other geometry it renders better.
Hmm Lee, I just file link the entire model
from Autocad with no further additional modifiers
in 3ds max...
(I get no email notifications from this form anymore, so I have
to check manually, that's why I delay to answer)

Does combining it as one model help?

Yes, thank you for letting us know. We are looking into this issue.
Yes Lee...
Combining all my solids into one unique, it renders correctly.
This first picture is with multiple group of solids and
as you see, clip geo don't fill every section, but some parts
are like they are empty:
And this picture is after making a total union of all solids into one.
Now clip geo intersection texture is applied correctly everywhere:
So I guess I have to do this procedure everytime...
