Hello People of Arnold,
I am trying to create a glassy gem diamond object. I turned transmission up to 1 and base to 0. but the render I'm getting is kind of black and the light is not passing through. I am using the latest version of C4DtoA with a floating license.
What am I doing wrong?

There is no problem with your scene or your crystal..
My guess is the black thing on glass effected by studio background.
I just tweaked a little bit arnold sitting.
Ah that's great! Yes there was something wrong with the background.
I changed the material to a standard Arnold surface and now I have what I am looking for.
