Hey, I'm trying to follow along with this tutorial.
https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFMUG/Multiple+Looks
I have two questions:
At the start of this page, following along from the previous tutorial, the picture shows a switch operator with two Include Graph "look" nodes going in, nothing coming out, and a link from one of the looks to the standin.
Is this right? If I try to duplicate this, the switch operator doesn't seem to work, shouldn't the two looks go into the switch and then the switch goes out to the standin?
Also, if I follow the tutorial, from page one - how do I access the two original SetParameter nodes in the node editor so that I can connect them to a merge operator? I start with a clean scene, load the alembic, add an Include Graph, point the include graph to the .ass "default look" file that was saved out at the end of the tutorial on page one, but I don't know how to now access the two SetParameters or get them to show, like in the picture, they seem to be inaccessible inside the Include Graph?
I've tried loading the sample scene, but it won't render for me in Maya 2019, says
"// Error: [proc] /aiStandIn/aiStandInShape: error in user init from"
