Is MaxToA 4.0.073 Buggy?

I've downloaded it sometime ago and it's getting on my nerves now.

The problem is that when I open my Max scenes, the rigged objects and models are just randomly scattered all over the place and have stupid rotations. I'd have to re-open my scene a second time to fix it all, and it goes for the other scenes that haven't been open yet. This string of issues happens every time I first startup 3DS Max.

As you see in my previous post, I have the same problem. Wich is...HUGE problem... Anyway, the solution is go to Arnold download's archive and install the previous version...

I mean it's pretty obvious to download an older version. I just wanted to know if there was a fix for 4.0. Thanks anyway.

Is it just the viewport display that's messed up? Or does the actual render have the same random positioning and rotations?

We got a simple repro scene from another question here, for what looks like the same issue.

If you think your problem is different, please upload an example scene, thanks.

Yeah I've just seen it a little over a week ago. Everything in my scenes gets dismantled or whatever until I have to open it a second time. I didn't care about that version of MaxtoA anymore, so I'm back on version 3.2.66.

The problem was reproduced and logged. A fix is in progress.

Thanks for letting me know. Also, I feel like I ask this a lot but I need to know why this is happening to me.

This issue I'm having with Arnold's normal map material, is it common? You can find what I'm talking about in my recent posts.

Generally all the guys here that supports Arnold are all unique and talented programmers. So I think that Mads mentioned that you tried to create some kind of... paradox material? Anyway, just upload the max file to test it and see if it is going to be reproduced by anyone...

I showed the issue about using the "Arnold Bump". It seems when I use that material for the "Bump" node in the Physical material, even without having a normal texture being used, those dark edges just appear regardless

I don't know if there's something fundamentally wrong with what I'm doing.

So yeah, I'm just gonna make a post and have some people test my file.
