I was wondering what the steps to get HTOA working on our render farm would be.
We currently have Arnold running in Houdini, as well as launching arbitrary Houdini hython batch jobs on the farm through a custom Deadline scripts, everything is working well. I see getting it all on the farm as 2 steps.
1. Exporting scene as ass files.
I assume this would be the same as the Houdini batch jobs, and just run a hython script to point to the Arnold rop exporting the ass files. This is some of our hython code for the batch jobs, I assume it would very similar for these ass file jobs? ("hython -- /opt/hfs17.5/bin/hrender.py -e -f 1 12 -i 1 -d /out/ArnoldRop /mnt/houdini/scenes/test.hip")
2. Rendering the ass files on the farm.
This is where I am a bit lost. Is there any sort of hython command to render specific ass files? Then it would be the same process as our batch jobs from there on.
Thank you in advance for the help.

You render ass files with the kick command-line tool. kick is part of Arnold, and included in the HtoA install.
