Arnold camera ignores Shear properties [Maya 2020]

I have a modified camera, with added Shear properties in order to get a certain axonometric render style.

There seems to be an issue with Arnold using the Shear values, because I can see that all of the other camera properties (Translation/Rotation) are being used. (Top Image)

The camera renders fine if I switch to Maya Software for the renderer. (Bottom Image)

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

This problem in 3dsmax is probably related to the above:

I have created a Physical Camera and checked Auto Vertical Tilt Correction.

Using Arnold Render View, if I set it to viewport_camera (which is PhysCamera001) it renders correctly. If I switch to PhysCamera001, the entire image is shifted downwards.

Wow, thread is alive again, thanks Lee! I'll be monitoring, as I really want to use this mode for a project that's just come up which requires this cabinet style perspective

Arnold cameras don't support scaling, so I don't see how the Shear on a camera transform would work.

Won't work, the op was trying to do a specific view, sometimes called cabinet perspective I believe. It has a flat on front view but allows you to see the top and sides. I could only accomplish it by shearing the maya camera  but Arnold doesn't render it, only maya software/hardware render
