Hi there,
We've recently updated C4D2A on our R19 Cinema4D running on a Mac (Yosemite). We've noticed that the licensing mechanism has changed - previously we used the Autodesk NLM since we had a permanent license.
The new Arnold Licensing Manager has the following message pop-up:
Server list is currently overridden by the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE environment variable. Please edit the environment variable if you want to make changes.
We tried unsetting the variable, to no avail. We've also downloaded a new license file from Autodesk and tried to install that, but no luck there neither. Attached is the Diagnostics file.
Many thanks!!
Alb

ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE should be just
@opennet-32-70.uhnres.utoronto.ca
Right now, the licensing cannot connect to the server:
Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,570:65 "No route to host")
You do need an ARNOL_2020 license for Arnold 6
You don't need to use the Arnold License Manager if ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE is already set correctly.
But if you unset ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE, you do need to restart the host application.
Thanks for the swift reply. The download for ARNOL_2020 doesn't seem to be on Autodesk just yet, so I've opted to roll back to C4D2A 2.6 for now.
However, the licensing is still giving me problems - Diagnostics now show 'Error getting status: Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,570:36 "Operation now in progress")', with the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE set as @opennet-32-70.uhnres.utoronto.ca
All very weird since it was all properly functioning a month ago...
Thanks for your help.
