I have a simple bifrost simulation that has a liquid and some foam. The liquid renders fine after exporting the mesh to alembic... the foam however doesn't render as points... or spheres... or volumes. The error I get seems to indicate that mtoa is the culprit rather than some settings problem. Here is the error I get...
// Error: Bifrost to Arnold package not installed in /Applications/Autodesk/bifrost/1.5.0/arnold-5.0.0.0/lib //
// Error: [mtoa.translator] bifrostTranslator: Arnold node type bifrost_polymesh does not exist. //
// Error: Bifrost to Arnold package not installed in /Applications/Autodesk/bifrost/1.5.0/arnold-5.0.0.0/lib //
// Error: [mtoa.translator] bifrostTranslator: Arnold node type bifrost_points does not exist. //
Anyone have an issue like this? Is this perhaps a Maya Env/Path problem?
Maya 2018/Arnold 5
Thanks...

Do you have Maya 2018 Update 1? That installs the Bifrost to Arnold package, which you are missing.
MtoA 3.3.0.1 not render bifrost
i'm using maya 2018.1
and Mtoa 3.2.0 render normally
