Crash while enabling aov tabs

I have updated the graphics Driver but still getting this error

Arnold craahes and a dialog box appears saying Application Error: An error has occurred and the application will now close. Do you want to attempt to save a copy of the current scene my Arnold version is 4.0.0.73 for 3ds max 2018

I'm not sure what "enabling aov tabs" means.

Does it mean that you open Render Setup, and click the AOVs tab?

@ I get a similar crash in 3ds Max 2018 and Arnold 4.0.0.73.

I can open the new AOV window, and the "AOV Wizard" tab seems to work fine, but in the "AOV List" tab, clicking on any of the AOV categories or the dropdowns on the left (red box in screenshot) causes Max to crash. This happens 100% of the time, and I've replicated this on two machines.

One machine also has Max 2020 and Arnold 4.0.0.73, and this crash does not occur in Max 2020.

I can reproduce the crash with 3ds Max 2018.

But not with 3ds Max 2018.4
