Please release a legacy Matte/Shadow/Reflection option in Arnold that works the same as Matte/Shadow/Reflection in Mental Ray

Manipulating the Shadow/Matte feature in Arnold is quite exhausting when you're dealing with multiple projects at the same time. The Matte/Shadow/Reflection option in Mental Ray was much easier to manipulate compared to the one in Arnold now. In Arnols, I have to adjust the specular color and other things in order to get a decent reflection while also having to apply arnold properties in order for it not to have scattered shadows while retaining the reflections. Standard Surface gives the kind of reflection I need but it doesn't offer the same flexibitliy as Matte/Shadow/Reflection since when I try to apply an alpha mask, the reflections disappear along with plane I applied it to (this is actually a question I asked that still has no answer).

This isn't a question but an appeal to the developers to hopefully add this feature. Manipulating's Mental rays Matte/Shadow/Reflection is much easier than dealing with Arnold's.
