Arnold 6 & Maya 2019.2

Hello, I am trying to render to a local renderfarm. The host machine and all of the clients have Mac Maya 2019. The renders are coming at darker on the clients. I have discovered that when I installed Maya 2020 it must have put Arnold 6 on my local machine that is running 2019.2.

So I am trying to keep the machines with the same install of Maya and Arnold but if I install Arnold 6 (401) on the Maya 2019.2 machines, it just ignores it and still shows 3.30.

What is the solution? Do I have to install Maya 2020 on everything? (hopefully not, it's really buggy). Thanks. -Derryl

Installing Maya 2020 installs a version of MtoA for Maya 2020

Maya 2019 cannot load that version of MtoA. And the different MtoA versions are installed in different locations.

I am still not clear on that. How do I keep the versions of Arnold on Maya 2019.2 the same? One install 3.3 installed and the other is 4.0. Thanks.

You download and install whatever version of MtoA you want for Maya 2019.
The latest version is available from https://www.arnoldrenderer.com/arnold/download/

Older versions are available from https://www.arnoldrenderer.com/arnold/download/archive/
