Should I Pre-Populate GPU Cache in every software?

Hi

I'm just wondering, What if I had to use Arnold GPU with Katana Houdini or Cinema4D something like that.

Should I Pre-Populate GPU Cache in every software?

That's not necessary, unless you are using different versions of Arnold in each application.

The cache is per Arnold version and driver version.

Hi think if you have arnold for different software installed, than not. But have you different Render Engine installed must you do that for each render engine, only not for iray+.

FinalRender oder Vray or other engines must do the same, compiling the shaders for OpticX. That comes from NVIDIA. You must compile all Shaders for the NVIDIA Drivers (Software) and cards (Hardware). Only iray+ from NVIDIA have the new compiled shaders included. Iray+ is for GPU Rendering, and at this time the advanced, and fastet GPU Render Engine of the World. and NVIDIA don´t change this. Believe me. Than comes FinalRender Hybrid 4.0, than comes the famous vray gpu, and then .... arnold gpu ... etc..

cheers
