Is there a specific feature limitation to the Arnold GPU engine that would cause this distinct difference in renders?
Identical render settings aside from being CPU/GPU. Also see attached shader network.
Geometry setup is just a deformed sphere with a bunch of smaller emissive spheres inside.
Lighting is a single Arnold Sky/HDR with no fancy settings.
