Maya 2020 & Windows 10.
No translations, rotations, or scalings of the place3dtexture node for a triplanar texture projection have any effect on an Arnold render.
The other projections all seem to work as expected.
Any ideas?
It seems to be working for me. What exactly does your shader network look like? Can you screengrab it or better still upload the shader somewhere?
Thank you for replying Lee. I created a simple test scene to show the problem. You can see in the first render that the scale of the texture in the render & the viewport don't match, and in the second render that I've manipulated the place3dtexture node and it doesn't change the render (although the viewport is correctly updated).

I have the exact same thing happening + this message :

The .tx file might not be updating. Does it happen with a different image format?
Yes I tried, but the image format doesn't seem to be the issue.
The projection node when set on triplanar seems to just break (spherical and other looks fine). The worst is : you can see no problem on viewport and arrange your texture as you want but when it comes to render it just duplicate tiny squares everywhere.
Can you upload the scene/texture somewhere, please?
