displacement is not working on MaterialX look assignment.

Hi,

I am using .mtlx file to assign look on the mesh.

I exported the .mtlx file using arnold rop node. When I connect look through materialx node, Look assignment works great, I got the exact look but displacement is missing.

There is no error found on the log. It is clean as usual.

Can you please look in to it?

It's a problem with the geom paths in the mtlx file.

surface shading is using paths like geom="/obj/emily/alembic:6", which work.

displacement is using geom="/emily_geo/Emily_head_trans/Emily_head_mesh", which doesn't work

Yes, thank you so much. It is working if I manually change the value in emily.mtlx file, but One thing I dont get it, by default How arnold writes in the emily.mtlx file displacement ../image1_material_disp_map" geom="/emily_geo/Emily_head_trans/Emily_head_mesh" ? It is suppose to write like ../image1_material_disp_map" geom="/obj/emily/alembic:6".

am I doing anything wrong?

It works for me (HtoA 5.0.0). I tested with a mtlx exported from Maya, which I applied to a procedural.


What's your log verbosity? Set it to Debug to check that the operators were actually applied (eg the selection expression is valid).

I have checked the log. all the operators have been passed to arnold successfully. No errors. I have attached the file link. Can you please check?

I did my own test, from scratch, and it worked.
