0 angle reflectance value

Hi mates,

I want to increase 0 angle reflections of my coat without changing overall IOR for it.
Similar to 3Ds Max's "Falloff" node, where you can specify IOR and color for it separately.
For example set IOR 1.6 and then raise up black value for F0 reflectance

I have a car which is standing sideways to the camera.
And cause of F0 values it almost doesn't have any reflections on side of a car and side windows.
I understand that it is probably physically correct behavior for dielectrics, but from artistic point of view I want to add reflections to parts which is parallel to the camera view.

So how to change F0 without affecting original 1.5 IOR value? If I change it that's affects reflections on another parts of a car windows and body, which are ok and I don't want to tweak them

Thank you

I take it you are using the car paint shader? It has many parameters for controlling how the coat reacts such as Flip Flop, Light Facing Color and Falloff. You could also try adding a ramp to the coat weight.

There is also the facing_ratio shader.
