Could not link aiLayerShader1 to aiStandardSurface1.base_color.

aiLayerShader is not working with any parameters of aiStandardSurface.


Software Used - Maya 2020 & Arnold 4.0.1.1


Any solutions on this.

aiLayerShader can be used as a surface shader only. You cannot connect it to a color parameter.


Use aiLayerRGBA
