Tutorials on Rigging

I have a question about a series of tutorials on rigging and animation for maya, is there a excellent course, tutorial, learning path from A to Z for Rigging and Animation?

That depends on why you would like to learn rigging and where do you expect to work in the end.

First rigging is more about learning howw to code in python than doing it by hand. To get hired you need to be able to automate everything.


If you just need it to get something animated. Look for a autorigger like mGear.


Take a look at Cult of Rig to learn the inner workings of maya and how it should be done.


And take a look at rigging dojo. Also excelent stuff.
