I've been trying to recreate the complex reflections from ceiling lights in the latest Sitoa. Can someone throw some ideas of how to accomplished this? I need to create a lot of them with variations.
If it's possible to render this completely or in separate passes? Using XSI 2015 SP2 with Sitoa 5.4.0.
Don't you need something emissive to represent an LED bulb to get interesting reflections (or mesh light)? Also, increase the specular ray depth.
Something like this for chrome, maybe with coating too.
@Lee Griggs, Hi Really thank for the help here. I'll try those options and see if i post all my geo. I have different variations as many light ceilings i have to do are different from each other. It will be difficult to keep the same type of reflection for all this type of lights.

I get this playing around with Metalness/Specular IOR, using "Associated Models" sometimes and Emitter + Mesh Lights. My scene has 3 Quad Lights, Left+Right+Center.
There's a lot to do here.
