RTX 2080ti - 2K render - tons of noise

I am following the guideline found here

AA samples set to 40 / Threshold 0.015 and this is what I got after 1 hour and 30 minutes of rendering. With the CPU it takes 38 minutes to render. So, am I doing something wrong?6230-gpu.jpg

I believe this has to do with the filter I selected. Just double checking a couple of settings.

This could be a recently introduced bug that we've fixed internally and hope to have in the next arnold bug fix release. If it is this bug which we've fixed, you can work around it in the meantime by making sure there aren't identically configured filters with different names. For instance, you could assign the same filter node to all the outputs or tweak the filter settings so each filter has for instance a slightly different filter radius.

Thanks Thiago. I believe the issue was me using a filter that wasn't supported. But at the same time, shouldn't GPU just switch to the box filter?

Am I wrong to say that Arnold GPU isn't ready for production, just to previews and look dev?
