KtoA and operators

Is there a sample scene for Katana and operators? I don't see any tutorials or a graph example in the documentation.
I can't make anything work while using operators. At the moment I'm just bringing a look file .ass file from Maya or Houdini, but I can't make it work using the include_graph operator. Or any operator really. What is the graph workflow? What is the right way of piping operators into the network.

It would be great to have a very simple graph scene available in the documentation.
