GPU rendering doesn't work.

Hi, everybody.

I'm trying to make a render using the GPU. All settings are set, but the actual rendering is done by the CPU. Only a few minutes later, the GPU is loaded at 8%, but then it is still not used.

The task manager is not reliable. Use something like GPU-Z

And keep an eye on the Arnold log

Thank for answer.

How to set up Arnold log?

You can go to Render Setup > Diagnostics to set the log verbosity level (Info is fine)

Then open the Render Message window. Right click it, and make sure all the message types are being displayed.

Ok, thank. So, gpu-z tells more than task manager. It seems like GPU works hard with max frequency.

In the log was message about default material, I fixed it.6500-1585746816011.png
