ARNOLD SPOTLIGHTS LOSE TARGET! BUG OR WHAT ???

In some large scenes with complex lighting upon loading all the Arnold spotlights turn towards origin - their target becomes invisible, only the spline and light remain visible pointing towards 0,0,0

When selected they turn back to their defined position but this causes some serious problem on render farms.

Any thoughts ?

This happens in 3D studio 2019

Sounds like you are using an older MAXtoA. That was fixed a couple of updates ago.

Could be, had to keep the version the same across a project, so it's basically an arnold bug ?

No, it was a problem in the MAXtoA plugin.

Which MAXtoA version are you running ? The information is at the top of the Arnold Renderer tab of the rendering options.
