GPU OSL environment in 3ds max 2021

I would like to know is there any way to use OSL environment in 3ds max 2021 by using GPU ?

I tried it but the background tint to be black.

It's being worked on. I don't suspect the build you have is working yet.

I have the latest release update which is 4.0.3.17

is there another update I can update it?

Does this by any chance include Bitmap Lookup and UberBitmap GPU compatability aswell?

The general path is to integrate more and more OSL related hooks, "string" which is what bitmaps in OSL are called from, is being worked on.

So that should mean that once, these things mature enough, they get included in the GPU experience.

Both Environment and regular bitmap should now be working.
