I'm encountering some weird issues with the latest MaxToA release when GPU rendering, not sure if those are reproducible on other systems or not.
OSL HDRI Environment:
Background renders black on second & all consecutive render attempts.
Unsupported OSL shading operation when in/decreasing viewport exposure
Unsupported OSL shading operation when activating ground projection
OSL Bitmap Lookup renders fine on first render but displays a fatal cuda error message on second all consecutive render attempts and does abort the render.
I added some logs
I asked about this issue and the told me that they are going to add it in the new update.
I have the new update now and the issue still not solve.
Yeah i've seen your post about OSL Environment not working under 4.0.3.17 and even asked Mads about Bitmap Lookup support for the GPU.
The maps actually kinda work in 4.0.4.36, but they're either somehow buggy or i screwed up my arnold update, not sure if this is reproducable for other people.
Nevertheless i added some logs for those problems and hope they can be fixed in a minor hotfix update.
I have a slightly newer build here and i can confirm the lack of background, I also found a reproducable crash, switching "use map" on and off while rendering in active shade.
Ill post on a different board in a moment and escalate this.
Done, reported both issues.
