Your noise may be sitting on worldspace cooridinates. Use a Sate Vector to source the space to Po.
It doesnt matter, the functionality is identical cross applications.
You can use the MayaSamplerinfo3D and swap between the exact same 2 coord systems.
Use PointWorld, and PointObj, will result in identical output. And since Max can load all the Maya nodes, we got what you got in maya, just in max, and I just checked and it works perfect.
So it's about understanding the function it self more than having a specific node.
