So it's unclear from the docs which types of Arnold nodes will need to have a maya node id registered in the metadata.
My gut tells me it's probably any which have a node representation in the DG/hypergraph. Though, even if that's the case, it would be great to have a definitive list of which types those are.
I'm assuming filter nodes do not. Unclear on camera/len shaders, though given how they're presented, I could see it going either way.
Actually, format is probably best, just a list of all Arnold node types and whether they require a maya node id.
