transparent material on maya with arnold render engine

I need to fade out an object animating his opacity. But when the object is semi transparent I want to see only the back objects and not is internal or back faces.

There is a way?

Thanks.

I am trying to imagine what you are getting vs what you want? Can you upload some images or a simplified scene of what you are getting?

I am thinking thin_walled, single-sided geo, ray_switch shader...?

Sorry for the few details.

For example I have a scene with some object with an aiStandarsSurfaceMaterial. A cylinder and a cube (with some additional faces) must disappear animating the opacity from 100 to 0. 7097-a.jpgFor the transparency I change the Geometry>Opacity of the material property.

In this way when the cube is semi transparent I see your interior faces.

But I want to see only the frontmost faces and the back objects:

Probably a cheat, but could you switch it with a regular cube (keyframe visibility on/off) and change the opacity of that one?
