Arnold in After Effects

Hello!

I use the full version of C4D R21 in combination with After Effects 2020 on Mac OS X Catalina. I installed the Arnold demo version to boost the preview speed as well in Cinema 4D as well as in After Effects for 3D objects. Arnold works fine in C4D but I cannot see any previews from C4D done with Arnold in After Effects/I do not get any updates in the preview of the AFX screen.

Is it at all possible to use Arnold as a renderer in After Effects? Hope the question is not too stupid, I did not find any solution so far.

No, there's no Arnold plugin for After Effects. Somebody would have to write a plugin that makes Arnold available as a renderer in After Effects.

You can't see the image thumbnails in After Effects? Which file format are you saving from C4DtoA?

I can't instal the Arnold demo version on my Mac. Did you have some issues like crashing License Manager when download Arnold ?
