How to create a horizon using Physical Sky?

I'm trying to create a horizon using Physical Sky or Light Dome. How can I make my flat plane cross with the sphere and create a straight horizon line?

Are you using the latest plugin? The physical_sky no longer renders black below the horizon. Here is an example using shadow_matte on a disc. Password: arnold

For the example above, I was using aiLightDome with an HDRI file. Can it be done with a custom sky texture?

Yes, scale the disc up.
