How do I texture heightfields in Houdini with Arnold?
I have a heightfield volume that getting the channels extracted and laid out in a cop2net. Then I have an arnold_materialbuilder1 in the mat context that I'm trying to reference my channels from the cop2net via an op: expression in an image node. But Arnold fails to want to render at this point.
I've been following along in this tutorial and trying to translate it to Arnold but no such luck as mentioned above relating to this timestamp: https://youtu.be/aPcN4jt2_hA?t=1234
Is there a better way or do I somehow have to export my heightfield and its channels/masks into other software like Cinema 4D or Maya just so I can texture it?
