procedural usd and uv-s

hi,

it seems to me that arnold procedural does not support the uv-s coming from solaris. the issue seems to be the data type - as houdini by default reads in the uv data as "texCoord2f" but arnold expecting a regular "float2". theres an easy workaround but wanted to check if im doing something wrong or is that the case?

br,

andres

Hi Andres!

No, you are doing everything correctly, this is a bug in the procedural. I created a ticket for your issue https://github.com/Autodesk/arnold-usd/issues/463 and submitted a fix too https://github.com/Autodesk/arnold-usd/pull/464 .

Thanks for reporting this!

Cheers,
Pal.
