ARNOLD 6 maya 2020. when rendering batch with gpu- only cpu in use

Hello, using Nvidia RTX 8000 graphics card if i render batch or network in maya 2020 with arnold 6, (GPU render type in render settings)

note: latest arnold and graphics driver is already installed.

still maya performance is in CPU not in GPU. CPU 100% and GPU 20%, does arnold 6 with maya supports 100% rendering in Batch render?

Arnold 6 for maya (GPU Rendering) is only supports,

1. (Interactive purpose) IPR render only?

or

2. Batch and Sequence Render also (ex: frames 1-1000) ?

tried so many times but it is not completely using GPU like any other softwares and plugins.

for example i rendered a scene in blender with cycles render it uses CPU 10% and 100% of GPU.

i searched everywhere regarding the same arnold 6 gpu rendering issue i could not find answer yet.

Arnold is capable of do 100% render in batch or not, or any other way to use complete GPU?

Thanks!!!

Hello guys finally Here is the solution for utilizing graphics performance.

when i loaded a simple file in maya to batch render it utilizes 100% of CPU and 20% of GPU.

when i loaded a complex scene or simulated scene in maya to batch render it utilizes 100% GPU and 10-30% of CPU.

Arnold GPU performance is great and quick. Outstanding performance of GPU.

The only trouble which i am facing is with GPU render the images are too much grains and noises. after working with optix denoiser also.

Looking for the solution.

Thanks

I also came across the same problem, when batch rendering it only uses CPU, most of the time, and only 5-10% GPU. Any fix to this? When what’s GPU rendering in arnold are for?

GPU does the ray tracing.
Things like subdivision, displacement, loading ass and abc and usd files, that all happens on the CPU.

So it depends on the scene.

Gpu will hit 100% when it gets physics simulations scenes which includes physical properties like dynamic gravity newton frictions etc. Otherwise rendering 3d models with animations will only use 10% of gpu. I doono why but I see my gpu hitting 100% in dynamic simulation renderings.
I hope it helps the community Maya
