hello I wanted to know how can I use 2 different normal maps and 2 different height/displament maps in one shader this is what I have but I have no idea how to connect 2 normal maps and the displacement maps in one shader I know its something to do with layer... but a little confused on what exactly and how to use it a little walk through please 🙂
confused with the mix and layers in the layer rgb where do I plug in or even if this is the right method
For displacement maps, I'd say use composite node(or any node that has blending modes) with overlay mode if your map is 0.5 centered.
Combining normal maps is a little complicated.
You can use partial derivative or reorientation method but never use overlay or any linear blending option.

For blending normals, I got this one you can use.
There should be a c4d version in there, thanks to our UI scripter on this board.
