Maya Standard Surface vs Arnold Standard Surface

Is there any reason not to be switching over to the Maya Standard Surface shader? From what I can remember there is some slight difference, but essentially they are the same?

You should be able to use the native Maya S Surface instead of Arnold St Surface. So barring any bugs/issues they should be essentially the same.

MtoA translates (converts) an Autodesk standard surface to an Arnold standard surface node.

Use the Autodesk standard surface node if you want your scene to be renderer independent.
