I assume Arnold only saves user data that is actively used in the assigned shader in the .ass archive? (Even though attributes on the AR properties Obj tab are set to *)
Or does it really export all and ist better to manually take care of that?
The export of user data is not based on whether or not some shader uses the user data.
If you tell HtoA to export the user data, it is exported. You can export an ASS file and to see what gets exported.
