HTOA - How to use ar_* attributes at SOP Level ?

Hi,

I would like to use `ar_opaque` or any arnold attributes (btw is there a reference list of all of them ?) at SOP level. Or a way to link refractive shaders to ar_opaque ?

Thanks

This is not possible at the moment, I've logged a request for enhancement as ticket #979.

Most properties are on the Arnold tab of the geo OBJ. You can get a full list of the Arnold properties for a specific node with the API or simply with kick on the command line, here's the list of parameters for a polymesh for example:

Thanks Frederic! Great tip about kick info, thanks.

I cannot follow tickets but that would indeed be great.

I'm assuming this will also solve the light instancing issue right ?

unfortunately what you are asking for is not supported as stated by Fred.

I lodged ticket for it probably year and half ago. So it on the list, just very low on the list 🙂
