arnold menu in 2021.1 issue

Can anyone else who has installed the latest max 2021.1 confirm that they do not have this issue....Arnold menu is dynamically created and is constantly creating sub menu items see my post in the max forum that no one is answering.

Do you have the same issue with the latest version of the plugin?

Hey

Just installed latest version and can confirm the issue still occurs.

I had open max 2021 3 times

Installed the lastest version and re-launched max and you can see 4 entries.

Love your work by the way.

Thanks for trying to help.

Do you see the same issue with the latest version of the plug - in?

This is the version of max that was installed with the deploy tool from subscription centre.7834-1596633962968.png

I'm downloading 2021.1 now to try...
We haven't seen any other reports here in Arnold support (which is separate from regular Autodesk support).

What locale/language do you use? English or something else?

I can reproduce the problem with the Customize User Interface dialog box (the Arnold menus are duplicated in the Menus list), and I've logged a ticket with the MAXtoA development team.

Thanks for replying Stephen.

Good to know I am not the only one running into this problem.

Was not sure if it was just my work environment or not.

We create a menu dynamically at startup to house all our most used maxscripts.

I initially thought it was a conflict between our pipeline and the arnold plugin.

I spotted the issue because a few years ago we were also not checking to see if sub menu's are already existing.

They need to check if the sub menu already exists and use menuMan.unRegisterMenu to not create it.
