Both cinema 4d and houdini Fx both smoke, vdb not work, does not appear. I wonder what is the reason ?
system features: intel core i3, 8gb ram, nividia gt 630 gpu
Could be your VDB files, because there's lots of other users rendering volumes.
Check the Arnold log.
Is it seeing the path to the volume? What if you move it somewhere else?
If it still doesn't work check the log file and upload the .vdb file somewhere so that we can test it.
It is written on the console
The console at the houdini is empty

gives the same result in all vdb's. Moving to a new place is not the solution.

Where are the VDB files from? Maybe the grids are missing?
Do you get the same issue with these volumes?
https://www.openvdb.org/download/
You should see existing grids listed in the Available grids field. If it's empty, make sure the path to the file is correct. Note, that # characters mean the current frame.
Check this example, for instance, it has a density grid: https://artifacts.aswf.io/io/aswf/openvdb/models/bunny_cloud.vdb/1.0.0/bunny_cloud.vdb-1.0.0.zip
your vdb is emty and your bounding box is infinity.
this happen when you writea houdini volume out as VDB. you need to convert the volume to vdb first.
