Hey!

This is not a simple one. As of now, Hydra does not support mesh lights officially. There is no mesh light Hydra primitive and Hydra does not handle the dependency between the mesh and the light. There is a big change coming to USD that's supposed to solve most of our light related issues. You can read about that more here: https://groups.google.com/u/1/g/usd-interest/c/wsBarHHGXH8/m/tMSZtOjlAQAJ

special features, camera setting etc. will never find a standard in USD, what i've heard from siggraph / pixar science fair. an "arnold/Ass file addon" specific to the DCC plug ins might be way ?

anyway, have follow more USD mailling list on google groups.

thanks for the Answer !
