Maya 2020 crashes on IPR render

Maya crashes when selected IPR render. This is only happening when I have two panels in the viewport i.e, Perspective view on the left and Render view on the right. I have updated all the GPU related drivers. Re-installed the software couple of times. Yet, this issue isn't solving.

There is an error displayed like this,

701MB WARNING | [mtoa] [<built-in>] [node aov_write_vector] Assigning temporary node id 1138176 to associated Maya type name aiAovWriteVector.
[aov] no valid output statements found: could be a progressive render without a display window

I don't get a crash.

The warning and the other message imply this is a specific scene that crashes.

Can you post a full Arnold log?

I had a similar problem and fixed it by doing the following:

- make sure the file you are rendering from is located in the local drive and you are also rendering out in a local drive (I was rendering from an old external hard drive - so i copy the whole folder in the local drive)
- In Render settings > System tab make sure you have selected Render device: GPU and select your Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 from the Manual Device selection (Local render)
(in my case I also applied Render Device Fallback: CPU )

That worked out for me so far - let me know if that works for you
