Arnold noice in post effects maybe? (feature request)

I have no Idea behind all this as like a whole software, just wanna ask if it's possible. Noice is better than Optix (at least in my experience), and it would be really cool if you had this UI after render so you could tweak the denoising for each AOV in picture viewer/IPR or something like that. Honestly the denoising workflow was the only thing that I found cumbersome in Arnold

My workflow goes something like this:

*Go to render settings

*Click the hidden panel under denoiser

*Create driver

*Set an output path

*Render

*guess the correct settings for your render

*Wait for the output

*Go to the file location

*If it doesn't look right, redo the last three steps...

For that workflow, I would just use neat video since It's kind of "more interactive".
But with neat there is also some draw backs, like having to open premiere just to denoise an image or two.

I don't know if it will be hard to implement, I don't expect it to be easy, but it would really be awesome if it was added. Thanks for the read, Cheers!

Completely unrelated, maybe a portal light material too?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe it's not too far away. 😉 We know that the current denoiser workflow is not the best. Imagers were introduced in our last release and we're working on moving the denoisers there.

Can you move imagers to render view? (and make render view to other plugins, like houdini)

It's on our roadmap, yes. Not sure if the render view can make it into Houdini soon, but we'd like to do it at some point.
