Why is Arnold rendering a grey ID AOV when using Atmospheric Volume?

Hello, it's me again.

We tried a Custom AOV to generate an ID Pass, because the built in AOV was not working. Now, when we want to render, we get an grey image for the ID Pass. We discovered that when we render without Atmospheric Volume, it works with the Custom AOV, but still not with the built in AOV. Is there any option to let the AOV ignore the Volume or something else to fix this?

We work with Maya 2018 MtoA 2.1.0.2

Have you tried using Light Path Expressions? Some examples here.
