Skydome with texture not casting shadows

Hi! I’ve been through everything and checked that cast shadows are on and etc, but still nothing works

Is this an HDR texture? The sun needs to be much brighter than the sky or you won't see any directional shadows. If it's something else, an image showing the problem, would help us see what's going on.
