usd file from MtoA is compatible with KtoA ?

usd file from MtoA is correctly rendered on Maya with correct material assign , correct parameters of shaders . Is it equivalent to MtoA usd file with KATANA rendering ?

It's the same USD procedural in both plugins, so if you use the Arnold USD procedural to load the USD file, then "yes"

I would like to add that it's also possible to use UsdIn/KatanaUsdPlugins to import the USD file directly to the scenegraph. In that case, shapes and materials will be rendered correctly if you are using the plugins shipped with KtoA.

There are limitations regarding lights, Arnold-specific attributes on shapes, etc. However, we are working on removing those.

Hello everyone, is there any ETA regarding those shapes limitations? I´ve also encountered several issues with normals, bumps and displacement which don´t translate at all. Any insight about this that you guys could possibly share?

Thank you.
