Arnold Export selection to USD : it exports more than the selection

Using Maya 2020.4 and MtoA 4.1.1, when I export a single object using the 'export selection to USD' in the Arnold menu, the exported USD contains more than only the selected object.


Steps:

Create a polygonal torus

Select the torus

Arnold menu > Scene export > Export selection to USD

Create a StandIn

Load the USD file in the StandIn

Check the contents of the USD in the File Contents of the StandIn

-> it contains the torus, but also other things such as the defaultArnoldDriver, the persp camera,...


This seems like a bug to me, or is it not ?

You have to clear the Export flags in the Export Selection dialog box.

If you want just the shape, clear everything except Shapes. And maybe keep Shaders too, if you want the shape and its shaders.
