how to assign materialx to global scene not aistandin

i found many tut talking about assign materialx to aistandin.but i want use materialx operator in global scene. i try some case,it alway not work.

what is the right method to achieve that?

and how to debug materialx operator's processing status,need more information about materialx operator what it did when it works

i found i can connect opertor to arnoldGlobalOption directly after reading arnold document. i tryed it.arnold v5.4.0.2 show black and arnold 6.1.0.0 show right result.

i will check it again

Have you tried using selection to assign it?

yes, it is working in arnold 6,not in arnold 5.4(arnold 5.4 show black diffuse,specular looks normal,may it is a bug)
